Next Gen Voices is more than an organization - we’re a movement of leaders, learners, and changemakers working to create a stronger, more equitable Central Minnesota.
We amplify the voices of BIPOC-led and grassroots nonprofits, youth leaders, and community advocates who are tackling the toughest issues facing their communities - from addiction and mental health to equity and systemic barriers.
By connecting organizations, building capacity, and nurturing youth leadership, we create the conditions for long-term, community-driven change.
To amplify the voices of community changemakers in Central Minnesota. We do this by convening organizations, fostering leadership development, and energizing leaders to stay motivated and resilient as they take on today’s toughest challenges.
We envision a future where Next Gen Voices becomes the central hub for grassroots leadership in Central Minnesota - empowering leaders, strengthening organizations, and cultivating youth who are ready to shape a brighter tomorrow.

Too often, community voices—especially those of BIPOC leaders and immigrant families - go unheard. At Next Gen Voices, we know that solutions are strongest when they come from those closest to the challenges. That’s why we create space for dialogue, provide tools for leadership, and stand alongside community changemakers to ensure their voices are not just heard, but amplified.
Our work comes to life through three core programs:
LeadUp Youth – Developing young leaders through mentorship, advocacy, and real-world impact projects.
Chambers for Change – Building a collaborative network of nonprofit and corporate leaders for equity and justice.
Shared Voices – Creating inclusive spaces for dialogue and advocacy, especially among immigrant communities.
Together, these programs weave a network of changemakers who are ready to speak up, step up, and shape the future of Central Minnesota.
